  • Don't miss Franny Billingsley's visit to Homer. Check out the programs and dates below.

  • Participate in one of our Writers' Groups:

    • 4th and 5th grader writers meet at the library on the first Monday of the month at 4:00 pm

    • Teen writers meet every Tuesday (that school is in session) at 4:00 pm

    • There is a writers' group for adults, too - check the library website for details

  • Visiting authors this year include Jordan Sonnenblick and Franny Billingsley

  • 5th through 9th graders can sign up to participate in Franny's Writing Workshop on Wednesday, March 12th at 4:00 pm. Call the library at 749-4616 to register.

  • Everyone is welcome to Franny's talk "The Who and What of Stories: Fitting Characters to Plot," on Thursday, March 13th at 7:00 pm. Mando Books will be here selling copies of Franny's books. Refreshments will be served.

  • Ms. Billingsley will be visiting all the schools in the Homer School District.

  • Participants can post their own stories to this wiki. Ask at the library or email us at circ@phillipsfreelibrary.org to find out how to sign up as a member of the wiki.

  • Submit a story by to be included in a bound anthology. Call the library for more details.
